Later, Wyatt confides in Alex that Katie told him he was adopted, like Robbie and that his birth family needs him. Later that night, Wyatt talks to an invisible being, seemingly pleading with it that his name is not Hunter.
Next, Wyatt takes a bath when he is violently pulled underwater by an unseen force, where he remains for a long time, and reemerges referring to himself as Hunter. Later that night Alex, has her sheets ripped away and is levitated above her bed, all while she sleeps.
Alone in the house with Wyatt, Alex videochats with Ben, and hears the garage door open by itself. Alex goes down to close it but gets locked in. At the same time, a women is seen going upstairs to Wyatt's room, where he is hiding inside his closet. The women calls for Hunter, saying "it's your aunt Katie... you're almost ready Hunter... I'll wait till you're ready." Meanwhile Alex is trapped in the garage, where the family car turns on by itself and begins spewing carbon monoxide exhaust, she barely escaped by breaking into the car and crashing out through the garage door. But when her family get home they don't believe her account of what happened.

Paranormal Activity 4 Review

Paranormal Activity 4 takes off where the 2nd installment ended. You get to see a recap in case you haven't seen the 2nd film. The recap shows Katie (Katie Featherston, common face in all Paranormal series) carrying her toddler nephew Hunter, the only survivor of her family, to an undisclosed location in the middle of the night, dressed in blood-stained clothes. Her whereabouts are not known. Years later, another family starts experiencing supernatural occurrences in their house after they allow their neighbour's kid Robbie ( Brady Allen) to stay with them for a couple of days.
Fifteen-year-old Alex (Kathryn Newton) senses the happenings could be more than illusions and decides to secretly capture her house on camera with the help of her tech savvy beau Ben ( Matt Shively). That is when the events start to unravel and you get to see the typical Night #1, #2... happenings, Paranormal style.

Alex and her father arrive, and he thinks he sees Alex's mother with Wyatt outside. As he goes to explore, Alex goes home. She goes to her room and discovers Ben's body, and then is suddenly be tripped and pulled by an unseen entity. She frees herself and runs out of the house and to Katie's house to find her dad, but witnesses him being dragged violently through the house by the unseen entity. She runs to a bedroom of the house but can't find his body. As she turns around to head back out Katie appears, storms forwards, demonically screaming at Alex. Alex quickly climbs out of the window where she discovers Wyatt standing there. She pleads with him to run away with her, but he stands there, blank faced and unmoved. Just then she is surrounded by numerous demon-faced women in Katie's garden, marching towards her. She turns the other way only to be attacked by a demonized Katie, before the camera briefly goes static and cuts to black.
In a post-credits scene that is approximately 30 seconds long, security camera footage is shown in a Bodega-type store. A Spanish-speaking woman appears inside the store and tells everyone inside the store to leave, saying things that translate to "This is only the beginning". Everyone quickly exits the store. The post-credits scene teases Paranormal Activity: The Tapes, which is an upcoming Latino spin-off of the Paranormal Activity series

 Kristi Rey and her husband are killed by Kristi's demon-possessed sister Katie (Katie Featherston), who then kidnaps Kristi's baby son, Hunter, and leaves Kristi's house. Katie and Hunter's whereabouts remained unknown until 5 years later. The next scenes show a teenager named Alex (Kathryn Newton) and her family living in suburbia with her mother Holly (Alexondra Lee), her father Doug (Stephen Dunham), and her little brother Wyatt (Aiden Lovekamp) in 2011.
Alex and her boyfriend Ben (Matt Shively) discover a strange kid hiding in their family tree-house, whose name is Robbie (Brady Allen), the neighbor's child. That night, Robbie's mom falls ill, is taken to the hospital, and leaves Robbie in the care of Alex's Family.
